artist statement
“My practice consists predominantly of abstract, and non-objective works inspired to engage the senses: both visual and tactile. At the heart of my work is the exploration of color as a catalyst to evoke memory, sensation, and profound emotional resonance. This capacity for color to connect with the viewer on an intuitive level drives my creative process. I employ a range of mixed media and digital techniques, embracing the flexibility that these mediums engage in a world driven by the artist’s brush as well as the computer mouse. Ultimately, I seek to create work that offers a meaningful, and innately human experience.”
